At most events that we’re a part of, our performers spend a lot of time interacting with the guests. Oftentimes, people have a lot of questions about the life as a professional magician! Here are some of the most common questions and comments we hear at any given event:
- ”Can you make ______ disappear?”: The mother-in-law, the check, the extra 15 pounds, the boss, the wife, etc. We’ve heard it all! This is the most common thing we’ll hear… at some events, we’ll hear this up to half a dozen times! But every so often we will hear something that makes us laugh out loud. So next time you see one of our performers, give it your best shot!
- ”You should be on TV!”: Whether it be America’s Got Talent, Ellen, or even The Tonight Show, people that see our magicians often suggest they go on these shows. However, most of our magicians already have. We work with the stars of the aforementioned shows (along with many other programs!) on a very regular basis. - ”What are next week’s lottery numbers?”: We get this one a lot, and no- we’re not able to predict the numbers. If we did, we definitely wouldn’t still be in the magic business!
- ”I’ve seen this trick before!”: When a magician takes out a deck of cards, some people think they’ve already seen the trick that the magician is about to do. However, the chances of that are very slim as there are literally thousands of card tricks in the world. Sometimes, these tricks have the reputation of being dull, but rest assured that our performers only do the best! Trust us when we say that you have definitely not seen our card tricks before.
- ”How did you do that?”: We love to hear this! It means we did our job well. But as flattering as this comment is, we like to keep most secrets to ourselves. However, we will often work with companies to teach their groups easy (but very strong!) magic tricks, or even make a room of thousands of people instantly become magicians with no practice necessary.
